Double You
The group’s story started in 1985, when William Naraine (singer), Franco Amato (musician) and Andrea de Antoni (DJ) began their artistic collaboration.

The single We all need love was recorded in 1992, during a European tour. It reached the top of all the world charts (number 2 in Israel). Then the first album followed, also called we all need love, which put together such songs as the third single Who’s fooling who, released in 1992 closing a year of successes it reached number 12 in Israel. Why (let’s make it Christmas): Double You interpreted this song together with the original composer and singer of Please don’t go: Harry Casey, professionally known as "KC.”

The second album was released in 1993. Blue Album spawned a series of hit singles: Missing you had success in Germany, the Netherlands, Italy and Latin America. It reached number 1 in Israel, being their biggest hit there to date. Heart of glass met with outstanding success in Spain and in eastern Europe. Run to me was a big hit in the Netherlands, Spain and the USA. They then started their first tour of north America. They performed in Miami, Daytona, Orlando and other towns along the east coast.
The album sold more than 300,000 copies in Brazil earning a platinum record and, in fact, the group performed in the greatest theatres and concert-halls in Brazil, where many famous artists performed The tour was an unprecedented success. A real DOUBLE YOU mania was born...

1995 a new single Dancing with an angel came out. The group had added the voice of the singer Sandra Chambers. In Italy the success was overwhelming. Dancing with an angel was the hit of summer 1995, also a great success in Switzerland, Australia, Israel and Latin America.
